Mary Martin Bookshop is Adelaide's oldest independent bookshop. Established in
1945 by Mary Martin it is best known for the infamous Max Harris who spent much
time in the shop and eventually going into partnership with Mary. A cultural icon of Adelaide Mary Martin Bookshop stocks a range of titles, from literary fiction and quality non-fiction to art, architecture and design as well as a great range of gift books, which are not to be found in many other bookshops. |
